Madelyn's First Day of Preschool!

This past weekend we went shopping to get Mady all set for her first day of school! I made a list prior to our adventure to the outlet mall by having Madelyn try on EVERY article of clothing in her closet. My plan was to stick to the list. I failed! I let Madelyn get her ears pierced. She did fine; just a few tears. The first day of preschool went great! Madelyn is enrolled in the Tuesday/Thursday class with her best friend Madison. The highlight of her day was learning the "God is great, God is good" prayer before eating snack. I am looking forward to helping out in her class & watching her grow!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Madelyn!

For Madelyn's 3rd birthday we went out for breakfast as a family. Mady insisted on wearing one of her new princess costumes. We asked her what she wanted to do on her special day & she decided on a movie. We enjoyed Toy Story 3 except for the fact that we now have to buy her ticket. We came home for pizza and cake.

Madelyn's Swim Video

Madelyn started swim lessons in July, and has loved every minute of it. She started out the youngest in the preschool class. This was a big deal since she had to swim without her floaties. The class has taught her to propel herself independently through the water, basic stroke skills, & important safety skills. Madelyn has asked to continue swimming through the fall/winter.
